Harford County Sheriff’s Office Announce Arrest In Edgewood Stabbing

Approximately 9:56 p.m. Wednesday, Harford County Sheriff deputies responded to the 800 block of Fisherman Lane to investigate an aggravated assault. At the scene, the responding officers located a 29-year-old man who suffered stab wounds to his upper body, according to the news release.

The victim, who was later identified as Davon Hurt of Edgewood, was taken to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Lessie DavisThe investigation revealed the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation that turned violent. The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Lessie Davis of Edgewood.

Davis was arrested Thursday and taken to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Southern Precinct for questioning. When deputies located Davis, she had drugs and drug paraphernalia on her person. She was charged with reckless endangerment, first- and second-degree assault and first- and second-degree murder.

Davis is being held at the Harford County Detention Center on no-bond status, according to the news release.
