This might happen because of Simon and this prince.

Prince Wilhelm struggled at first when he moved to Hillerska. But then he made new friends and fell in love. Then things changed, and he became the next contender for the throne. In the last episode of season 1, Wilhelm finds out that August was the one who leaked a video in which Simon, the young prince, appears. When he found out more about Queen Elizabeth, Wilhelm was more upset. Wilhelm wanted to protect the family’s image. He didn’t confront what was happening. This happened before Simon disappeared for the Christmas holidays.

A new season of Young Royals would show what’s happening in Wilhelm and Simon’s relationship. We might find out if Sara is still with August or not. Wilhelm is mad at the Queen. Things are not finished yet. Season 2 might have interesting plot threads.
