Woman Stabbed In Upper Body During Altercation In Cockeysville, Boyfriend Arrested


About 2 a.m. Tuesday, Baltimore County police responded to a report of an altercation in Cedar Tree Court in Cockeysville. Upon arrival, police discovered a woman who was suffering from a life-threatening stab wound to the upper body.

Police said the woman was stabbed during an altercation with her 30-year-old boyfriend. A 27-year-old that tried to intervene received a superficial wound. He was treated at a local hospital and released.

Violent Weekend In BaltimoreThe woman was taken to an area hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.

Ricardo Terrell Saunders Jr. was later arrested and charged with two counts of first- and second-degree assault and second-degree attempted murder. He was taken to the Baltimore County Detention Center, where he is being held without bail, police said.
