Release Date for Wentworth Season 9

Of course, Wentworth is the most loved show in Australia. It is a re-imagining of Prisoner, which aired back from 1979 to 1986 on Network Ten. The show has been gaining popularity since 2013 when it was first released onto SoHo and has gained more viewership across the globe!

The last season of the show was decided to be released in two parts. The 2nd part of the 8th season was decided to be the last season of the show.

While fans were preparing for the end of Wentworth, thanks to Foxtel and their announcements, we know that it is not going to be the last season.

Foxtel has officially announced Season Nine as “The Final Sentence” with a release date of 28 July 2020 and 24 August 2021 respectively!

All the episodes of Season 9 which was officially Season 8, part 2, will be released on October 27th, 2021.

The Cast Will Remain the Same for Wentworth Season 9

The cast for the upcoming season of the Wentworth will remain the same. The cast in the previous seasons included Danielle Cormack, Socratis Otto, Celia Ireland, Katrina Milosevic, and Aaron Jeffery. and Nicole da Silva. While Kate Atkinson and Robbie J. Magasiva will continue to star in the series.

Many of the other cast members will remain the same. We might see some new faces around as well. But, this has not been made official.
