Venator Materials Announces Plans To Close Easton, Pennsylvania Plant

Venator Materials Corporation, United Kingdom-based chemical company, announced plans close its manufacturing plants in Easton, Pennsylvania and St. Louis County. The closure will impact approximately 130 employees.

Venator focuses primarily on performance additives and titanium dioxide pigments that are utilized in coating and paint formulations, mobile devices. Plastics, inks, skin care products, cosmetics, vehicles and fabric.

Venator operates 27 facilities and employs over 4,500 people, according to the company’s website.

The layoffs are expected to occur on November 18, according to the Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification filing.
