Two Bowie High School Students Make History

Bowie High School students, Mikaila and Alexis Esuke, were in for a surprise when the 2018-2019 valedictorian was announced at their graduation Tuesday. When both the twins named were called, they were in disbelieve. In fact, they shared everything, including their birth date, love for tennis and GPS. Now, they are co-valedictorians.

graduationThe twins told Tracee Wilkins with NBC4 Washington their plans to attend the University of Maryland, College Park in the fall. They admitted that it was just a coincidence, but a crazy coincidence at that.

The twins have now set their sights on their higher education. They will be studying mechanical and chemical engineering.
