The Long Planned Secret Invasion Coming on Disney Plus

The fans of Marvel have been waiting for the new updates of the next project, especially Marvel’s Secret Invasion project. We have all the details for the upcoming comic book adaptation of Secret Invasion. The miniseries was announced way back in 2020. Since then, we have been waiting to hear from the creators and producers for future updates.

What is the Secret Invasion Miniseries All About?

Secret Invasion is a comic book crossover storyline that ran through a self-titled eight-issue limited series and several tie-in books published by Marvel Comics. It ran from April to December 2008. The story involves a subversive, long-term invasion of Earth by the Skrulls.

The Skrulls have replaced several superheroes. In the new miniseries, we will explore our favorite characters turning into something dangerous for the world.

The show was announced at the promotional event named “Who do you trust?”. All left to see is a show of what happens.

We do not have a teaser or a trailer for the show. But we will be kept up to date as it comes out. All that we know by far is that the show will be available on Disney+ to binge-watch. The show will be based on a comic book.

Disney+ has been home to many Marvel shows and movies. It is only natural that they would choose the next MCU event to stream on their new service. With many big projects on the way, we are sure that the studio will be giving us something to tide us over until then.

We will have Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness released before the release of Secret Invasion. However, there are no confirmed titles for 2022 as of yet. The studios have not stated any plans to shift their release dates.

For now, let’s wait and see what Disney+ has in store for us with “Secret Invasion.”

When is the Secret Invasion Releasing on Disney+?

Disney+ has not announced the release date of the miniseries yet. The show was announced back in 2020. So, we do not think the producers of the show will be ready before late 2021. However, since the show is still in its early stages of production, we do not know what to expect at this point.

The studios have stated that they are planning on staying with their original release dates for 2022 and 2023 releases so far. So, there will likely be no delays when it comes to Secret Invasion.

Nevertheless, the production of the show might have been delayed due to Covid-19 circumstances. However, with all the planning proceeding in the right direction, we expect them to meet their original 2022 date.

So our best bet is late 2022 when we will see a miniseries based on “Secret Invasion.”

Kingsley Ben-Adir to be part of Secret Invasion.

We do not have any promos for the show. This makes it difficult to guess what part Kingsley will play and what characters we will see that will be part of the enormous event.

Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman are some other characters that have been confirmed by far. It seems like they might play a significant role in this series as well.
