Lives of the Mayfair Witches will be the second series in the Anne Rice universe that will follow Interview with a Vampire. The first show was greenlit and will air in 2022.

Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford are writers and executive producers of the show. If the show is picked up, Spalding will be the showrunner.

The series is about a girl who finds out she is a witch. She has to figure out how to use her powers and stop the evil force that has been following her family for generations.

Last year, AMC Networks got the rights to Rice’s works. For example, the Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair Witches series is now theirs. They will make a TV show or movie out of them; they have also made other movies and shows like this before.

We are excited to make a second series with Esta and Michelle. They have done some good jobs. We are happy that we got the green light for their first series, so we will do the same with this one too, and really care about our work. We want to make good TV for people who love this stuff, or people who haven’t seen it before.

AMC  is trying to make a TV show about witches. They have put in an adaption of “Lives of the Mayfair Witches” and are making it into a TV show. They also want to make a writers room for the potential series based on author Rice’s three-book trilogy. Esta Spaulding and Michelle Ashford from Masters of Sex are going to be the writers for Mayfair Witches. They will be showrunners if the show gets a series order.

There is a new show being made. It’s called Mayfair Witches. This show is the second in AMC’s planned Rice universe, which joins Interview With the Vampire, which was picked up to series last summer after they got rights to both titles and 16 others as part of a deal with the author in 2020.
