Temple Bar files Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the New York State Department of Labor on September 26. The notice indicates that the New York-based restaurant will close on December 31.
Temple Bar is renowned for its creative new beverages and traditional cocktails. It serves shrimp and lump crab cocktail, roasted macadamia nuts, smoked salmon on thin toasts, spicy chicken wings and much more.
The restaurant cites the reason for dislocation as “economic” in the WARN filed in the New York City Region. A union does not represent the 13 employees impacted by the closure. Separations will take place on December 13, according to the filing.
