With the Stranger Things Season 3 winning the hearts of the people, it is quite evident that there has been a huge craze among the people regarding the upcoming 4th season. Although the next season of Netflix’s Stranger Things remains mostly shrouded in thr mystery, according to its tradition. However, we can still expect that there’s a scrap of new information for the fans to cling to while they would be awaiting the series’ return. As per the creators, the Duffer Brothers, the show will not wrap with its upcoming fourth season. Even though there are no official announcements about it yet, we can still say that this is probably not going to be the last one of the sequel.
Ross Duffer told the Hollywood Reporter in a new interview has said, “Season four won’t be the end.” Hence, this would be noting that the production delay was forced by the novel coronavirus. However, it had been beneficial when it comes to story planning. He further said, “We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”
In June, Matt Duffer told Deadline the same kind of thing, noting “We’ve known the ending of the show for quite awhile” and wisely adding “We don’t want to just keep churning it out.”
Stranger Things’ Ending Is Already Worked Out, As per the Duffer Brothers
There might be a lot of mystery which would be surrounding the town of Hawkins, Indiana, but one thing that isn’t. Prior to the talk of season five actually commencing, the show will have to finish filming the season four. Elsewhere, Joe Keery (who plays Steve Harrington) said that it’s “hard to say” whether the filming delay will ultimately benefit the current season or not. Joe further said, “I mean, it definitely gives them more time to write, and I think that that’s always good. I guess that there’s the issue of the kids growing, but apart from that, I just think that we want to get the show out as soon as possible for people.”
