Netflix has just announced that Stranger Things Season 4 is in the works! The popular drama series, set in the 1980s, will be returning for another season next year. This news has fans of the show all over the world excited for what’s to come. Stranger Things is a mystery/sci-fi drama that follows the lives of a group of kids. Who is trying to solve the mystery of their friend’s disappearance? The first three seasons were a huge success, and it’s sure to be more of the same with Season 4.

Who is the cast in Stranger Things Season 4?

Stranger Things Season four is set to begin filming in early 2018. Stranger Things has an ensemble cast, including Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers; David Harbour as Chief of Police Jim Hopper; Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven); Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson); Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler). Stranger Things also features cameos from celebrities such as Paul Reiser, Sean Astin and Matthew Modine.

Stranger Things Season Four will be released on Netflix at the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018. The show was renewed for a second season back in October 2016 after it was revealed that Stranger Things would return with nine episodes instead of eight like previous seasons had been limited to by Netflix’s rules.

Stranger Things Season Three will continue to follow the adventures of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson and Lucas Sinclair as they explore a world filled with supernatural forces. Stranger Things takes place in Hawkins Indiana where Will Byers gets lost while playing Dungeons & Dragons outside his house late at night. When his friends and family can’t find him, they go to the police department only to be told by Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) that Will is most likely dead.

While looking for their friend, the boys come across a girl with special powers named Eleven who helps them take on an evil being known as the Demogorgon. Season Two followed the aftermath of their fight against Upside Down and how it affected Hawkins and its citizens. Along with new monsters, Stranger Things Season Three will also introduce new characters into the mix including Maya Hawke who will play Robin Buckley – an “alternative girl” bored with her day job.
