“Star Wars: Visions” – A New Anthology Animated Series Coming Soon To Disney

Disney+ is about to get a whole lot more interesting as it has announced Star Wars: Visions, an upcoming anthology animated series. Created by Lucasfilm Animation, the series consists of nine short films produced by six Japanese animation studios.

The series will be released on September 22nd, 2021. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Disney has attempted to enter the anime market- back in 2013, they released The Clone Wars, which was created by Cartoon Network and Lucasfilm Animation, and followed Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi during the three years.

The series will have ten fantastic visions from several of the leading Japanese anime studios to give a different perspective to Star Wars.

The series is currently scheduled to release in September 2021, and it’ll definitely be worth watching for all anime and Star Wars fans out there!
