And now the sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods is on its way.

What is the plot of Shazam Fury of the Gods?

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a new movie in what people call the DC Extended Universe. This movie is about Billy Batson, who was a superhero when he was young, but now he’s just a teenager and has to deal with life as well as being a superhero. As of this writing, no plot details have been shared. Though Sandberg did confirm we will see what it’s like now that the whole family has superpowers. Zachary Levi, who plays the titular hero, did discuss his excitement for the villains this time around in an interview with The Direct. This is what he said:

Now we have these good actors who play villains in the movie. Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu. I can die happy because I’ve gotten to work with Helen Mirren. It was so crazy. You know that they are talented because you have seen their work before, but you don’t know if they will be a person who is fun to work with.

Who will be starring in Shazam Fury of the Gods?

David F. Sandberg is returning to direct the sequel of “Lights Out.” He also directed “Annabelle: Creation.” Henry Gayden wrote the screenplay for “Shazam!” and co-wrote “Earth to Echo.” Producers Geoff Johns and Peter Safran are making the film with Walter Hamada. Gyula Pados is the cameraman.

Billy Batson and Shazam are in the movie again. They will be joined by Freddy Freeman, played by Jack Dylan Grazer. Other actors play characters like Adam Brody, Marta Milans, Ross Butler, Faithe Herman, and Meagan Good. Rachel Zegler, who stars in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story,” is one of the newcomers this time around. Helen Mirren will play Hespera while Lucy Liu will be Kalypso.

The fans were very happy when they saw the teaser for the Shazam sequel. They loved it and looked forward to the movie. There was a story about Billy. He changed homes a lot. He met Freddy who liked superheroes, too.

One day, Billy was turned into a champion. An old wizard made him become champion. Whenever he says “Shazam” he gets the power. Now he is going to come back after four years.
