Season 2 began filming in January 2020. It wrapped in July and it premiered in January 2021. That is about six months for filming and about six months for marketing.

Many people got COVID-19, so the filming of Servant Season 2 was hard. But there were only 4 main people in it and one place to film.

Servant' Season 3 Teaser: Apple's Horror Series to Return in January | IndieWire

Shyamalan just finished the first episode of Season 3. That is a good sign, but we haven’t heard anything about it in a while. Now, thanks to the release of the first full-length trailer for Season 3, we can report that new episodes of “Servant” will start streaming on Apple TV+ on January 21, 2022

What is the plot of Servant Season 3?

This book is about a couple that has a baby. The baby dies. The mom gets crazy and needs help. They get a doll to help her feel better. This is hard because someone hires a nanny who was in the past with Leanne. The person killed them and threatened to come again. The story is about the young couple’s sadness. Their sadness continues even when many other things are happening in the story.

Before we talk more about the third and fourth seasons of “Servant,” it is worth noting that this show is designed to be strange. Even the cast members sometimes do not know what is going on. One actor told Backstage that they get their script one at a time. They know as much about the show as we do. They can’t tell what’s going to happen. But we do know that this show is halfway through its planned run and that the first two seasons have been building up to a fight between the Turners and this secretive religious cult, with Leanne stuck in the middle.

What can we expect?

In the show, Leanne was a mystery character. We did not know what she meant to do with the Turners or if she would help them in her way. In seasons 1 and 2, she gave them a doll that looked like Jericho, but it came alive. This made people from her past come to see her.

In the second season of Game of Thrones, Uncle George and Aunt Josephine come. They are two people in the cult that Leanne is with. They want to do bad things to her because she left their group. Leanne kills Aunt Josephine, but it doesn’t work for long because she tells them what she did. Turners will have a lot more visits from people who are part of a cult.

What is the mysterious cult? What are Leanne’s true intentions? And will the Turner’s marriage survive with this oncoming holy war? The first full-length trailer for Season 3 contains some hints, but even these glimpses are as cryptic as you might expect. Parse them at your own risk.

Who will be starring in Servant Season 3?

There have been no announcements about the Season 3 cast. But there usually are no announcements anyway. The creator of the show planned for it to be for four seasons with ten episodes each from the beginning. Since “Servant” is planned ahead of time, it is not a show that has a new character every season.

Season 3 of “Servant” will most likely have the four main characters. They are Leanne, a nanny who helps take care of the baby; Dorothy, a reporter who lost her son Jericho; and more. Toby Kebbell plays Sean Turner, Dorothy’s husband. Rupert Grint plays Julian Pearce, Dorothy’s brother. The show may bring back Season 2 cast members like Boris McGiver, who plays Dorothy’s uncle, or Jerrika Hinton as Dorothy’s therapist.

Tony Basgallop is a writer. He wrote the show “Servant.” Shyamalan is an executive producer. The writers for this show are Tony, Nina Braddock, and Ishana Night. The show’s directors have been Shyamalan, Daniel Sackheim, Nimród Antal, Alexis Ostrander, Lisa Brühlmann, John Dahl, Julia Ducournau and Isabella Eklöf.

A movie called Servant stars Nell Tiger Free as Leanne, Lauren Ambrose as Dorothy Turner, Toby Kebbell as Sean Turner. And Rupert Grint plays Julian Pearce.
