Sam’s Club To Close In Owings Mills, Lay Off 169 Employees

Walmart filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation on January 9. The notice indicates the company will close its Sam’s Club store at 9760 Reistertown Road in Owings Mills on May 11.

Sam's ClubWalmart announced last week that it would close 63 of its under-performing Sam’s Club stores throughout the country.

Employee separations are scheduled to begin on April 13 and continue through May 11.
