Public Enemy #1 Apprehended, Baltimore Police Say


Baltimore Police announced Sunday that Public Enemy #1 turned himself in.

Around 4:30 p.m., Darius Neal, 18, surrendered to the Department’s Warrant Apprehension Task Force detectives. Neal was apprehended in the 700 block of East Baltimore Street without incident.

Neal was wanted in connection with the murder of Charmane Wilson, 37, mother of eight. The incident took place in the 1700 bloc of Gertrude Court, following a dispute over a bicycle.

Neal contacted detectives to make arrangements to turn himself in after learning there was an active warrant for his arrest.
