Prison School Season 2 – Release Date, Characters, Trailer And More
Prison School is back, and this time the prison walls are coming down! After a long wait, the second season of prison school has finally been announced. If you have never seen prison school before or need to get caught up after the first season, then keep reading to find out everything you need to know about prison school season 2!
The release date of Prison School Season 2:
Since the show has yet to be renewed there is no release date yet. However, if the show is renewed we can expect a Fall 2021 release.

As of now, no trailer has been released. If the show gets renewed anytime soon, we may see a trailer by 2021.
What happened at the end of Season 1 of Prison School?
In season one, we saw that the rules of Hachimitsu School changed when they allowed boys into the school. During the first year, only five boys get in.
The boys turned to be mischievous and try everything in their power to get closer to girls, including peeping into the girl’s washroom.
But they fail to do anything because of the USC (Underground School Council). After being caught, they are given two choices.
Either they can stay in an internal prison for a month or get expelled. They choose the first and get into the prison.
The plot of Prison School Season 2:
After the first year, we see that there are now ten boys in the prison for violating various rules of Hachimitsu School. The USC is trying to keep things in order but has trouble because they can’t stay by each inmate all day.
So a new rule was introduced where inmates must do whatever it takes to avoid going into solitary confinement. If one goes into solitary confinement three times then he/she will be expelled from the prison system forever!
Meanwhile, we hear rumors about someone who is planning on destroying Hachimitsu Academy so this person could take over as headmaster… We also see that the prison has a new inmate named Kiyoshi.
Since the show has not been renewed, there has been no news regarding the plot as well. At this point, we can only guess.
Is Prison school Season 2 worth watching?
Considering that it’s one of the most popular anime on Netflix, I would say yes! The Prison School is worth watching and if you liked the first Prison School then this sequel will be right up your alley!
Again, we can only hope that there are more prison school seasons in our future because for now, all we know is “More Prison School!”
