Prince George’s Police Identify Victim Of Chillum Homicide


Maryland – Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a woman in Chillum. The victim is 51-year-old Brenda Swann of Rhode Island Avenue in Brentwood. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

Accident Scene

On April 10, 2018, at approximately 12:30 am, patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of Ray Road for the report of a shooting. Officers found the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and establish a motive.
