Prince George’s County Police Need Help Solving Fatal Pedestrian Hit-And-Run In Suitland


Around 8:15 p.m. Thursday, the Prince George’s County Police Department received a report of a pedestrian collision in the 4500 block of Suitland Road. At the scene, the responding officers located a man lying in the roadway. The man who suffered critical injuries was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in the roadway, when a gold-colored truck heading westbound on Suitland Road struck him, police said. The driver of the truck left the scene.

The victim was later identified as Perrier Clayton, 29, of Ewing Avenue in Suitland.
