Prince George’s County Police Investigating Shooting That Left 2 Dead


Prince George’s County police are investigating an early morning shooting that left two adult men dead in District Heights.

Police responded to a report of gunshots in the 600 block of Atwood Thursday morning. Upon arrival, police discovered two adult men lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. The men were in a parking lot next to an apartment complex, they were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Baltimore Mayor's Office On Criminal JusticeThe men have been identified as Kenneth Edmonds, 31, of District Heights and Phillip Michael, 34, of the District of Columbia. After a preliminary investigation, it was revealed that two different groups of people were involved in a verbal argument, when an unknown suspect or suspects began pulled a gun and fired it multiple times.
