Prince George’s County Police Investigating Forth-Degree Sexual Assault In College Park


Prince George’s County police said a woman reported being sexually assaulted in her apartment in College Park Saturday.

Around 3:30 a.m., a male suspected entered an apartment in the 4500 block of Guilford Ford through an unlocked window. The occupant, a woman, said the suspect “inappropriately touched” her. The woman’s screams scared the suspect away, according to the news release.

Accident Scene

Two similar reports have been reported in the same area over the past month. The first incident took place on September 9 at approximately 1 a.m., at which time a man entered an apartment occupied by a female through an unlocked door. She told police that she screamed when she saw the suspect standing in her doorway.

Approximately 1 a.m. Saturday, a male suspect opened an unlocked window and peered inside of an apartment occupied by a female. The woman said she saw the man and started screaming, prompting him to flee.
