Prince George’s County Police Identify Victim In Temple Hills Stabbing


At approximately 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Prince George’s County Police responded to the 6700 block of Geneva Lane in Temple Hills to investigate a reported stabbing. At the scene, officers located a 61-year-old male suffering from a stab wound.

Medics arriving to the scene, stabilized and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives believe the fatal stabbing was a “random crime.”

The victim has been identified as Lorenzo Dancy of Brooks Drive in Northeast Washington.
