Prince George’s County Police Identify Victim In Capitol Heights Collision


Prince George’s County Police say a 44-year-old man was fatally injured in a collision Friday in Capitol Heights.

Approximately 8:10 p.m., police were dispatched to the 400 block of Ritchie Road to investigate a multi-vehicle collision. At the scene, the responding officers observed a vehicle and bus with damage.

Violent Weekend In BaltimorePreliminary investigation revealed the passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on Ritchie Road, when for unknown reasons, the driver crossed the centerline and struck a bus that was traveling southbound.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger of the vehicle and bus driver suffered non-life threatening injuries. There were no passengers on the bus, according to the report.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was later identified as Marcus Moore, 44, of Lake Grove Court in Crofton.
