Prince George’s County Police Identify Victim In Adelphi Collision


Prince George’s County, Maryland – The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash in Adelphi. The victim is 26-year-old Jose Hernandez-Rojas of Harriet Avenue in Baltimore.

On April 21st, at approximately 4:30 am, patrol officers responded to the 8500 block of Adelphi Road for a collision involving a single car.

The preliminary investigation reveals the car was heading northbound on Adelphi Road, when for reasons which remain under investigation, it left the roadway and struck multiple trees. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. There were no passengers in the car.
