Prince George’s County Police Identify Suspects In June Homicide


Prince George’s County’s Homicide unit identifies two suspects who allegedly shot and killed a man in Oxon Hill on June 6.

Around 8:40 p.m. June 6, police arrived to the 5200 block of Leverett Street to investigate a report of a shooting. At the scene, police found a man who had been shot. He taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police identified the victim as Shahim Body, 26, of Oxon Hill.

Two suspects charged in the homicide were identified as Jarrett Deon Jackson, 25, of the 6600 block of Highgate Drive in Fort Washington and Jarrell Desean Jackson, 28, of the 2400 block of West Rosecroft Village Circle in Oxon Hill. Both suspects are charged with first-degree murder and other related charges.
