Prince George’s County Police Identify Laurel Shooting Victim


Detectives with our Homicide Unit are conducting an investigation into a homicide in Laurel. The victim is 19-year-old Hassan Lucky of Old Stage Coach Road in Laurel. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. 

On October 24th, at approximately 3:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 13000 block of Laurel Bowie Road for a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Lucky unresponsive on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
