A Maryland State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation has led to the arrest of a Prince George’s County man. 23-year-old Vincent Herrara Paris of Suitland, Maryland has been arrested and charged with four counts of distribution of child pornography and seven count of possession of child pornography.
Paris was arrested at his residence without incident. He was taken to the Maryland State Police Forestville Barrack for processing. Paris is currently being housed at the Prince George’s County Detention Center where he is waiting to see a District Court Commissioner.
In November of 2018, the Trask Force received a referral from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reporting the distribution of child pornography from a specific Internet address. An investigation was started and it led to Paris’ residence.
Shortly before 5 AM on February 19, 2019, Maryland State Police carried out a search warrant at the identified residence. They were accompanied by agents from Homeland Security & Investigations and Prince George’ County Police Department. A forensic review of Paris’ electronic devices led to the discovery of multiple child pornography files. Paris was arrested without incident.
