Prince George’s County Executive Rusher L. Baker, III Releases Statement Regarding Devastation Left By Hurricane Irma


Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III released a statement Monday regarding the major devastation left by Hurricane Irma in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Florida.

“As we remember the September 11th tragedy 16 years ago, today is additionally tough as we view the images of the impact of Hurricane Irma on people throughout the Caribbean and the gulf region of the United States.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to them as they work to rebuild their lives and communities following the ravages of the storm.  Individuals and organizations throughout the County have worked diligently to assist with relief efforts for people impacted by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and we will continue that commitment to assist Hurricane Irma victims.
