Prince George’s County Asking For The Public’s Assistance In Finding Homicide Suspect


Prince George’s County homicide detectives are trying to locate a suspect connected to a July double homicide. An arrest warrant has been obtained for Robert Suesbury, 27, of the 1600 block of Euclid Street in Northwest Washington.

Around 7:20 p.m. July 9, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4600 block of Silver Hill Road. Upon arrival, the responding officers found two men suffering with fatal gunshot wounds in an alley between two businesses, police said.

Police later identified the victims as Anthony Douglas, 23, of 28th Avenue in Marlow Heights and Courtney Simms, 22, of 23rd Parkway in Temple Hills.

Suesbury, Jharrod Armstrong, 19, of the 1400 block of Fairmont Street in Northwest Washington and a third suspect, who has not been identified were connected to the case. Suesbury and Armstrong, who is in custody, are charged with first- and second-degree murder.
