Police: Man Breaking Into Car In Halethorpe Dies After Being Held By Witness


Early Sunday morning, a man was seen breaking into a vehicle in the 4300 block of Annapolis Road. The witness, who was in a parking lot of a business, approached the suspect and tried to hold him until law enforcement arrived.

When the Baltimore County police arrived on scene, the suspect was unresponsive and not breathing.

Baltimore Mayor's Office On Criminal Justice“The suspect resisted the witness the entire time,” police said.

The man’s body was transported to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and police are not releasing any further information on the case to the public at this time.
