Police Investigating Shootings That Leaves Two Dead, Two Injured In Baltimore


On Friday, Baltimore police said two people were injured and two others killed in recent shootings.

Police arrived to the 4600 block of Belvieu Avenue in Howard Park around 11 p.m. Officers found a 25-year-old woman who had been shot. She was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition. Also found at the scene was 26-year-old Dustin McNeil who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital, police said.

The victims were shot while sitting inside a vehicle, police said.

Around 11:30 p.m., a 35-year-old man was shot in the head and back in the 1200 block of East Fayette Street in Poppleton. When police arrived on scene, the man was alert and conscious. He told detectives that an unknown suspect approached him on a bicycle when he was sitting on a bench. Without warning, the gunman opened fire on the victim.

Around 12:45 p.m., police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 4200 block of Flowerton Road in Southwest Baltimore. Responding officers discovered a man who had been fatally shot by an unknown assailant. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene. Additional details and victim’s identity was not immediately available.

On Friday, police also identified the victim of a Tuesday afternoon shooting. Nineteen-year-old Rashad Parks, of Belmont Avenue was suffered from a fatal gunshot wound and died at a local hospital, police said.
