Police identify two homicide victims killed in Baltimore City

Baltimore City Police have identified the two people killed in a double homicide that occurred in Southwest Baltimore on Tuesday evening.

Victim 1

The first victim has been identified as John Doe, a 25-year-old male from the neighborhood. Police say Doe was shot multiple times in what they believe to be a targeted attack. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Victim 2

The second victim has been identified as Jane Smith, a 30-year-old female also from the local area. Smith suffered a single gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time but say they are pursuing leads. Anyone with information is asked to contact homicide detectives or may remain anonymous by contacting Metro Crime Stoppers.

The double homicide brings the total number of homicides in Baltimore City so far this year to 125. The investigation is ongoing.
