Pittsburgh Man Indicted On For Possessing Firearm And Ammunition


Acting U.S. Attorney Soo C. Song announced Monday a Washington man was indicted on a charge of unlawfully possessing a firearm.

Forty-five-year-old James Roosevelt Leach was previously convicted of robbery, aggravated assault and rape in Washington County. As a felon, Leach was prohibited from possessing a firearm.


The count of unlawfully possessing a firearm and ammunition charge carries a maximum 10-year prison sentence and/or $250,000 fine.
