Pennsylvania Man Charged In Connection With Possession Of Child Pornography

Acting U.S. Attorney Louis D. Lappen announced Thursday that an Elkins Park man was charged with one count of possession of child pornography.

Forty-one-year-old Matthew McAlpin allegedly had in his possession on December 10, 2015 more than 5,000 videos and images of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Children under the age of 12 were sexually victimized in the images and videos, according to court documents.

Prison

McAlpin faces a maximum 20-year prison sentence and $250,000 fine if convicted.
