Pedestrian Struck By Baltimore City Garbage Truck Dies At Hospital


Baltimore Police are investigating a fatal crash that took place in the Southeast District on Tuesday.

Around 2:45 p.m., police responded to a collision at the intersection of Milton Avenue and Orleans Street. A garbage truck traveling southbound in the 400 block of Milton Avenue, when it struck a pedestrian at the intersection police said.

The 46-year-old man was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
