Norfolk Man Faces 25 Years In Prison For Child Pornography Crimes


U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente for the Eastern District of Virginia announced Wednesday that a Norfolk man pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography.

Forty-nine-year-old Alfredo Martinez shared images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct online. A search warrant of Martinez’s house recovered innumerable electronic devices, including three computers, external hard drives and a mobile phone that contained explicit material of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Law enforcement arrested Martinez during the search, according to court documents.

Judge And Jury

If guilty, Martinez faces a maximum 20-year imprisonment. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 21.
