While there are so many directions this show could go, we’ll have to wait until 2020 when it releases before knowing for sure what will happen – but with such talent behind it, you know that whatever happens will not disappoint Game of Thrones fans. Across the world!

It looks like Westeros might need some time away from our screens due to how intense Games of Thrones was at times – But fear not… We’re about to have three new shows added to our TV screen soon.

We have been blessed with so many Game of Thrones spin-offs that will come to our screens soon. The most likely Games of Thrones spin-offs are:

A Game Of Thrones is set in the same world but follows a different story and characters than the main show, which Jane Goldman is creating. But don’t worry. Mr. George RR Martin himself has said he’ll be involved as well!

With such talent behind it, you can bet that they won’t disappoint Game of Thrones fans across the world. This one’s coming out in 2020, at the best guess. So we have some time before this release happens.

The Long Night, based on an idea from Max Borenstein (Godzilla), David Benioff and D.B Weiss, and Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class) – This is for those who want to know what happened after the show ended!

The Long Night’s expected release date has not been announced yet, but 2020 seems likely as Games of Thrones spin-offs are released annually… so we’re guessing this one could come out around that time.

Robert’s Rebellion, based on an idea from Brian Helgeland (Lara Croft Tomb Raider), David Benioff, D.B Weiss, AND Jane Goldman – Would explore Robert Baratheon’s uprising against Mad King Aerys Targaryen.

The Golden Age of Heroes (AKA The Long Night) – Will be a prequel to Games of Thrones, set about one generation before the events in Games. It will take place during the “golden age” when Westeros is essentially at peace for some time after Aegon Targaryen conquered and unified six out of seven kingdoms into one realm with his dragons.

Some Sequels:

Grand Maester Pycelle’s Game of Cups & Stones –

A spin-off follows Grand Maester Pycelle in King’s Landing as he tries to navigate through the politics that are going on around him.

Khal Drago: Winter Is Here! –

This would explore Tomorrowland within Planets, where humans live beneath ice sheets.

The Citadel

Set inside the walls of Oldtown, it would focus on Maester’s life and their roles at The Citadel.

Robert Baratheon: King in Exile

The series follows Robert as he is transported to Essos by a magic spell before the Games begin. He rules over a kingdom there with his wife, Cersei, until they are slain by a usurper who takes control of both Westeros and Essos.

Bran Stark & Friends

This spin-off will follow Bran and other children from Winterfell at school together beyond the Wall, where they learn how to wield magical abilities such as warning (taking possession of animals), skin changing (possessing humans), or tree whispering (communicating with trees.)

Dorne, The Land of Fire & Mountains

Following a few characters from this region of Westeros, we get to see what life is like for those living there. From old rulers who have lost much but are still proud to younger generations filled with ambition and drive, these stories cover decades through fear, love, or war.
