Member Of Sex Money Murder Gang Gets 264-Month Prison Sentence For Racketeering Conspiracy


Acting U.S. Attorney William E. Fitzpatrick announced Monday a ranking member of the Sex Money Murder, a subset of the Bloods gang, street gang was sentenced to 264 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute heroin and attempted murder.

PrisonTwenty-eight-year-old Laquan Reed, aka “Drama,” of Montclair, New Jersey previously pleaded guilty to a “14 count superseding indictment charging him with racketeering conspiracy.” He admitted to committing violent crimes from 2007 to 2011, including a shootout in Newark that was organized to kill a rival gang member. He also admitted to distributing over one kilogram of heroin in the Newark area.

Sex Money Murder operates in Essex County, New Jersey.
