Medical Examiner Rules Death Of Baltimore Infant A Homicide


Baltimore police are investigating the death of a 2-month-old male that received treatment at Johns Hospital since being admitted on November 11, 2018. The infant was brought in at approximately 7:05 pm unresponsive. After following routine procedures, the incident was reported to police.


Johns Hopkins doctors informed the parents of Syncere Curry that there was no brain activity. The infant was declared deceased on September 19, 2019. The infant’s remains were transported to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

The death of Syncere Curry was ruled a homicide on December 6, 2019. An investigation has been initiated, according to the police report.
