Medi-Rents & Sales Agrees To Pay $450K To Settle Medicaid Overpayment Case


Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh announced Tuesday Medi-Rents & Sales, Inc. has agreed to pay $450,000 to resolve claims that it received overpayments from Medicaid.

The Baltimore-based medical equipment provider’s billing practices came under scrutiny following claims the company improperly billed Medicaid for medical supplies.
