Netflix has not given any more specific details about when to expect the series. Hopefully, the new first-look pictures are a sign that they will release more information soon, and maybe even a trailer.

Gutiérrez said he was inspired by the art and exhibits of the Museo Nacional de Antropologia in Mexico City. They were from Mesoamerican cultures. He made his movie ‘Maya’ as a way of showing a fierce, rebellious Eagle Warrior Princess. The book has a character called a brave young woman. She is inspired by the women in his life, including his mother, sister, and wife. He says they are his “eternal muse.” Netflix also wants to know what “the Three” means. People will need to wait to find out.
