Maryland State Police: Victim Stabbed In Queen Anne’s County


Maryland State Police say a man involved in a physical altercation was stabbed in the left side of the upper body multiple times in Queenstown.

Approximately 5 p.m. Monday afternoon, Maryland State Police responded to a reported stabbing in the 100 block of Taylors Road. At the scene, the responding troopers located a victim who had suffered a stab wound. Medics arrived and transported the victim to University of Maryland Shore Emergency Center, where he was treated and released.

Preliminary investigation revealed a man had arrived at the resident in the 100 block of Taylors Road and demanded for someone to come outside. The victim existed the residence and confronted the man. A physical altercation ensued and the victim was hit in the mouth and head, bit on his upper right arm, and stabbed in the upper body multiple times.

The suspect then got into a vehicle and fled the area. None of the witnesses could identify the suspect.
