Maryland State Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Circle K In Walkersville


Maryland State Police said a suspect robbed a Circle K in Walkersville.

Around 12:39 a.m., Thursday, Frederick Barrack troopers responded to a reported armed robbery in the 100 block of Standstone Drive. A Circle K employee told troopers that she was robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect was believed to be in his teens to early twenties with a slim build, wearing a hooded black sweatshirt, black mask, white gloves, blue jeans and black and white shoes.

The employee said the suspect entered the store and brandished a semi-automatic handgun at her. She escaped into an office and locked the door behind her. The suspect fled the area on foot.

Maryland State Police and Frederick County Sheriff’s Office conducted a K-9 track of the area. The investigation is ongoing.
