The Maryland State Police said a black Mazda in the area of UMES BOULEVARD hit a pedestrian.
Around 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, Maryland State Police responded to a collision involving a pedestrian in Princess Anne. At the scene, troopers found a 19-year-old man suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
The man was identified as 19-year-old Dwight Nichols III of Princess Anne. He was taken to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment.
A preliminary investigation revealed Nichols was walking on Somerset Avenue, when a Mazda passenger vehicle struck him, police said.
