Maryland State Police Investigating A Pedestrian Fatal Collision In Owings Mills

Maryland State Police say a pedestrian was fatally injured Saturday night in Owings Mills.

About 10:57 p.m., troopers responded to the southbound lane on Interstate 705 at Owings Mills Boulevard to investigate a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. At the scene, the responding troopers observed a 2008 Honda Accord with extensive front end damage.

Preliminary investigation revealed the Honda struck the pedestrian, who had attempted to cross the interstate in lane one. The operator remained at the scene and did not suffer any injuries. Medics pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene.
