Maryland State Police said an adult male was killed in a collision Sunday in Abingdon.
Around 7:30 a.m., troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Emmerton Road at Box Hill South Parkway. An investigation revealed that the driver of a 2017 Ford Fusion crossed over the yellow line and hit a 2007 Chevy Tahoe head-on, troopers said.
The driver of the Chevy suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Ford sustained fatal injuries, troopers said.
The investigation is still ongoing.
