Thirty-seven-year-old Jason Wayne Hines of Cumberland, Maryland, had stored on his computer two videos and images depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Maryland State Police analyzed Hines’ computer and determined that he had shared the videos and images over the Internet.

A search warrant of Hines’ residence recovered more than 50 videos and 1,000 images from storage media, cell phones, and computers. It was also determined that Hines showed an interest in sexual activity with minors over the Internet. Five videos depicted Hines sexually abusing a prepubescent female while she was asleep.
