Maryland Man Gets 23-Year Prison Sentence For Producing Child Pornography

Acting U.S. Attorney Stephen M. Schenning announced Tuesday a man from Allegany County was sentenced to 23 years in prison for the production of child pornography.

Thirty-seven-year-old Jason Wayne Hines of Cumberland, Maryland had stored on his computer, two videos and images depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Maryland State Police analyzed Hines’ computer and determined that he had shared the videos and images over the Internet.

A search warrant of Hines’ residence recovered more than 50 videos and 1,000 images from storage media, cell phone and computers.
