Baltimore Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting in the Northwest District.
Approximately 2:22 a.m. Tuesday morning, police were dispatched to the 5100 block of Linden Heights to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers discovered a 34-year-man who had been shot in the scrotum and buttock, according to the news release.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition and additional information is not available at this time.
Around 1 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital in the Northern District. At the scene, the responding officers found a 42-year-old man who had been shot in the elbow.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was driving in the area of Bonview and Erdman Avenue, when an unidentified suspect approached and shot him. Additional details were not immediately available.
Approximately 8 p.m. September 28, police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Riggs Avenue to investigate a stabbing. At the scene, the responding officers located a 40-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the chest. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where he died on Monday.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Leonard Carolina, 40, had been in an altercation with an unknown suspect who stabbed him. The incident took place at the intersection of Poplar Grove and Riggs Avenue, according to the news release.
The victim of the homicide that took place on October 1 in the 33 block of Westerwald Avenue has been identified as Bruce Williams, 24, of the 5400 block of Cedonia Avenue.
The victim of the homicide that took place on October 1 in the 1300 block of Myrtle Avenue has been identified as Daniel Brinkley, 24, of the 1700 block of North Fulton Avenue.
