A Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the Maryland State Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation indicates the company will close its store in the Annapolis Mall at 1600 Annapolis Mall Road and lay off 141 employees in April 2018.

Hudson’s Bay is among a large group of retailers that have been struggling as brick-and-mortar stores. These retailers and others are threatened by the online retail giant, Amazon.
