Leidos To Lay Off 62 Employees In Virginia


Leidos filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Virginia Board of Workforce Development on October 24. The notice indicates the company will lay off 62 employees by the end of the year.

Leidos, a FORTUNE 500 technology and science company announced Tuesday that it had been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Army. Through the contract, Leidos will deliver all flight operations, logistics and maintenance for the AAF and SMW to maintain and operate aircraft.

The employees impacted by the layoff work in the Vienna facility at 1953 Gallows Road. They are expected to separate from the company on December 29, according to the filing.
